Show Reviews
"A great night's entertainment showcasing snippets
of nearly all the major productions and once again people
regretting they hadn't seen more, such was the standard
on offer. Special guests actor Mark O'Halloran, and
singers Danna Davis and Mark Power each added greatly
to a night of celebration and skill. The inclusion of
just a few awards added glamour and reward to this successful
event and it was great to get to see many of the award
winners perform on stage again on the night. The award
winners and nominees were:

Gordon's Good Things:
A Terrific Programme, with some brave, diverse, inclusive
and innovative choices from Dublin and beyond. More
people attended and were entertained - very good value
for money. Social Issues and a new
womens' and young people's theatre programme added greatly
to the integrity of the festival as theatrical event.
Gordon's Bad Things:
Not enough support for the more serious issue plays
which were great. Booking fees, and distractions by
audience at some plays (like talking and mobile phones).
That the festival does not have the financial
resources to reach its potential it deserves
it. " - Gordon Farrell, Scene City - June 2005
