Gay Priests and the Catholic Church in America. Two days in the life of Fr. Gerry Gallagher, a conflicted but appealing gay Irish Catholic priest and his long-term lover Josh, a Jewish atheist. Gerry confronts an AIDS related TB diagnosis, an archdiocesan plan to close his parish and an attempt to patch things up with Josh in the heady turmoil of a Church in crises over the sexuality of its own priests. The play is about an adult gay relationship that is funny, poignant, challenging and has a smell of truth!
