Watch out for a range of free events taking place during the Festival, ranging from the Festival Launch party and Poster Exhibition  to our mini-festival of New Irish Writing, music and our annual Academic & Cultural Seminar.

FREE NEW IRISH WRITING @ THE GEORGE

The promotion of new writing and the works of new playwrights has always been an important element of the Festival.  This year is no exception with a series of new Irish play-readings in the George:

CULTURAL SEMINAR @ TRINITY COLLEGE

Sunday May 11th @ 12noon, Samuel Beckett Theatre, Trinity College

Academic and Cultural SeminarHeld annually during the Festival the Academic & Cultural Seminar examines the role and meaning of 'gay theatre' past and present.

This year's seminar is chaired by Dr. Eibhear Walshe and includes papers on Eva Gore Booth and the work of novelist Mary Renault as well as the annual Dr. Aiden Rogers Memorial Lecture.
