Rename the Festival
After 22 years, it’s time for us to come out and admit who we really are. We’re not just a “gay” festival. We’re also lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, trans, non-binary, intersex, asexual, and more. Send us your idea for a new name for the Festival at info@gaytheatre.ie. Suggestions will be accepted through December 31.
Sean Denyer Named Artistic Director
The International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival is pleased to announce Sean Denyer as our new Artistic Director. Sean is an award-winning playwright, director and producer with an impressive international reputation.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sean as Artistic Director,” RC Bates, Managing Director, said. “Many people will know Sean is no stranger to the Festival, having had many shows in the Festival over the years.”
