LGBT Deaf Community: Performance of Chalks with ISL Interpreters

We are delighted to announce that the performance of Chalks on Friday May 7th at 8p.m. will include Irish Sign Language interpreters in partnership with Powderpuff Productions.  We are committed to increasing access to theatre so we warmly invite members of the deaf community, LGBT or straight, and hearing friends to attend.

As this production is selling well please book now to avoid disappointment.

We also recommend the wonderful ‘Noel Road 25’ to deaf or hearing-impaired audience members. This production runs all week from May 3rd to 8th and is in Spanish with English subtitles.

About Chalks:

Graham Quinn, a successful artist has lost his inspiration and interest in life. He meets David a handsome young street artist who draws in chalks on the pavement. He is captivated by the young man’s looks and artistic passion and invites him to work with him.

Will desire, eroticism or jealously be the key to restoring Quinn’s artistic muse? Will David’s responses to Grace, the other young life model drive Quinn to the dark despair of unrequited love?

Patrick Kinsella’s new play fuses art, body and soul in a gripping clash of the ageing artist and his young models.
