Les Kurdendall presents the true story of William Dorsey Swann, a former slave who became the Queen of Drag in Washington DC in the late 1800’s. Swann fought racism and homophobia and was one of the first LGBTQIA activists in the US. Swann’s bravery paved the way for members of the gay community today .
This is a historical trip, prompted by a contemporary medical experience, that you don’t want to miss.
